We have a strong presence in all states and territories from the humble beginnings of a family business in Melbourne in 1985. Baron Forge employs over 150 staff, including Project Managers, Contract Administrators, Stonemasons, Installers and Tilers. Our team has for many decades of experience on a diverse range of projects, including shopping centres, commercial offices, residential apartments, institutions, aged care facilities and retails offices.
We are committed to excellence in quality, design and workmanship, and to complete projects to a client's satisfaction on time and on budget. All staff is well-trained in quality assurance systems and procedures, and guarantee rigorous critical path project management and industry-best practice on all tasks.

Baron Forge founded by Valentin, Norma & Claudio Paz; Walter Paz joins company soon afterwards.
1995
First Factory established in North Sunshine
2004
operations moved to 20,000 m² property in Export Drive – Brooklyn to cater for growth
2006
Paz Group is formed – PazStone (Domestic) & Baron Forge (Commercial)
2008
Baron Forge mourns the loss of its founder Valentin Paz
2010
Baron Forge opens Brendale Plant in Brisbane, Queensland
2011
Baron Forge establishes a stone manufacturing plant in Malaga, Perth WA
2012
Sam Kheryakhos joins the PazGroup as a Director
2013
Paz Group through joint venture with Stone-Tech Holdings. New plant in Northmead, Sydney NSW.

Paz Group takes a controlling interest in Stone-Tech NSW
Paz Group establishes a direct presence in Adelaide – located in Thebarton

Manufacturing Capability
All of the stone used products used by Baron Forge is processed right here in Australia at our manufacturing plants. This is where benchtops, vanities, fireplaces, decorative feature walls, facades and the manufacture of all types of ceramic and stone tiles are produced ready for install.
No matter how large or small the project may be, our aim has been to meet the budgetary requirements without compromising on quality and professionalism completing the job at the specified date. It is the dedication of our crafts people and providing all the new technologies and the latest machinery for both natural and engineered stones.
We have three major manufacturing plants across Victoria, NSW and QLD. Our major manufacturing facility in Melbourne is located in Brooklyn and is one of the largest, if not the largest stone plant in Australia. This is complimented by smaller manufacturing capabilities in WA and SA.

The Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of Australian stone at home and overseas. The association seeks to develop standards of excellence in performance and product supply, and to facilitate greater co-operation between the various sectors and competing entities of our industry.
