We can apply any full strength Dulux colour, Resene or Resene Metallic colour. Please be aware the colour will change depending on the type of glass used. See below for more information.
Clear glass
Clear float glass is colourless and transparent when viewed face on. When viewed on edge, it displays a slight green tinge. Clear float glass offers a very high level of natural daylight or visible light transmittance to pass through it
Low Iron Glass
Very low in iron content and consequently is extremely white and clear and transmits an exceptionally high percentage of visible light.
Minimum thickness is generally 6mm in either clear or low-iron glass. Low-iron glass is recommended for true clarity and consistency of colour. Colour mismatches may occur with clear glass is used. The use of painted glass panels for kitchen splashback applications meets the requirements under AS4551/AG101 and AS5601/AG601.
Recent changes to the standard means that utilising 6mm toughened glass no longer requires the need to install fire resistant cladding behind the splashback; when used less then 200mm from the periphery of a gas burner.
